International students

19 Jun 2009 - V茅ronique Marfaing

Students from the International School of Manosque and exchange students from the European School of Parma鈥52 students in all鈥攙isited the ITER site on 10 June. They were given a guided tour lead by the Director of Agence Iter France, Fran莽ois Gauch茅; Ivone Benfatto from ITER also gave some explanations in Italian. This site visit was succeeded by a Tore Supra visit. Two researchers from Institut de Recherche en Fusion Magn茅tique, St茅phane Vartanian and Gloria Falchetto gave them an introduction on the tokamak and the basics of fusion.
